A Nigerian, Oluwatobiloba Oyagunna, has died seven days after he arrived in the United Kingdom to pursue a Master’s degree in Economics and Computing.
Oyagunna was said to have left Nigeria on January 25 and arrived the United Kingdom on January 26. Sadly, he died of an undisclosed ailment on Monday, February 2, seven days after his arrival.
A member of the Nigerians in UK Organisation (NIUK), known simply as Oluomo of Derby, announced the sad development on his verified X handle on Wednesday, February 4, saying the 39-year-old man wanted to pursue the course at one of the universities in the kingdom.
According to information, his untimely death has left his family and loved ones heartbroken as he left behind a wife and two children, whose lives have been completely shaken by this tragedy.
Oluomo of Derby also disclosed that the entire members of the organisation are currently raising funds to support the family regarding the burial plans and to ease the immediate burden on his young family.
