Nigerians usher in the New Year with hope for a better tomorrow

In spite of conflicts, numerous tragedies and an unbalanced economy, Nigerians were in full energy on the 31st of December to partake in the final night of 2018 in what is popularly referred to as ‘crossover night’.

Across the country Nigerians heralded the New Year with celebrations, dancing and prayers as the clock struck midnight signaling the beginning of a new chapter.

After a year of filled with stumbling blocks the nation would be looking to turn the situation around in the coming elections in hope that things will turn around for good.

President of the Republic, Muhammadu Buhari in his New Year Message reminded Nigerians that there are new opportunities to be explored in 2019.
