Distinguished Economics experts Bismarck Rewane and Dr Abiodun Adedipe are set to attend the 2025 RCCG Christ the Lord Parish Lekki Economic Summit, scheduled for Saturday, 15th March in Lagos.

Rewane, CEO of Financial Derivatives Company Limited, will deliver a keynote address on Nigeria’s macroeconomic challenges and opportunities, offering an in-depth analysis and proposing policy-based solutions to address economic volatility.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Ms Olive Emodi, featuring Dr Abiodun Adedipe, CEO of B Adedipe & Associates; Mr Ugodre Obi-Chukwu, CEO of Nairametrics; and Mr Opeyemi Agbaje, CEO of RTC Advisory Services Limited as panelists.

They will be analyzing critical economic themes, presenting expert insights into the current state of the economy and potential strategies for promoting stability.

The Summit is projected to attract a significant number of attendees, with an estimated 500 people attending in person and additional individuals joining the discussions virtually.

The timing of the Summit is particularly pertinent, as Nigeria is currently dealing with the consequences of recent policy decisions, such as the removal of fuel subsidies and the liberalization of the exchange rate, which have led to higher inflation and economic strain on many households.

Pastor Tunde Netufo, the Assistant Pastor of RCCG Region 11 and Pastor in Charge of Lagos Province 20, emphasized the Church’s dedication to promoting financial literacy and resilience in Nigeria. He reiterated the Church’s commitment to fostering ongoing conversations about the nation’s economic future, and stressed the importance of providing a platform for economists and policymakers to discuss key economic issues.
