2019 is an election year and various parties are looking to oust the opposition and score points with the masses, the most popular of the flock being PDP and APC.
Former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan has released an audio recording in which the Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi is seemingly mocking President Buhari.
In the post on his twitter account Omokri wrote “Nigerians hear the audio of Rotimi Amaechi’s conversation, they may weep. This man has no iota of respect for Buhari.”
However, the Presidency in a reaction through Tolu Ogunlesi, a special assistant to President Buhari on digital media, said the leaked audio of Amaechi purportedly criticising Buhari occurred in 2014 and that the minister was referring to Goodluck Jonathan, the then President.
