Tributes have poured in from Israeli officials following the death of Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA.
Kirk, 31, was shot and killed during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Kirk as “a lion-hearted friend of Israel” who “stood tall for Judeo-Christian civilisation”.
President Isaac Herzog echoed similar sentiments, stating, “Israel has lost a true friend and huge ally.” These reactions underscore Kirk’s strong support for Israel and his efforts to promote Judeo-Christian values.
Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana praised Kirk, calling him a “hero” who “exposed the enemy’s propaganda that brainwashed so many in the West and distorted their thinking”.
Transportation Minister Miri Regev also paid tribute, saying, “Charlie was a true friend and one of Israel’s biggest supporters.” Far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir was among the other Israeli officials who issued condolence messages.
