Top Nigerian singers Tuface Idibia, MI Abaga and Chidinma Ekile have lend their voices against vote-buying during the 2019 general elections, as they mutually released a single hit ‘Not For Sale’.
According to reports Teni D, Waje, Umar Shareef and Cobhams Asuquo also featured in the support collaboration.
The lyrics of the song ‘Not for Sale’ implore Nigerians not to sell their votes “because the power to change the nation for the better is in everyone of us.”
It also encourages peaceful electoral process by all stakeholders, especially the electorate as they come out to vote.
The song however, was directed by Bobby Hai, shot and edited by Paul Gambit and produced by Cobhams Asuquo.
It is therefore of no doubt that the ‘African Queen’ crooner, Tuface, has over time advocated as well as led advocacy for a better Nigeria through music.
