After a minor setback on Thursday that got Twitter users thinking, the Social media app has created an emoji for the #Endsars protest that is ongoing in the country.
According to Twitter Support, “most of you should be back to Twitting. The outage was caused by a system change initiated earlier than planned, affecting most of our servers.
“We’re working hard to bring Twitter back to normal and expect things to be fully resolved in 1-2 hours. We appreciate your patience.”
The emoji is a tight fist with the countries colour. Note that Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey had endorsed the #EndSars protest two days ago.
He tweeted his support for the #EndSARS protests and called for Bitcoin donations towards the movement on Wednesday.
