WorldStage Limited (WorldStage), a Nigerian research and technology-driven firm, has announced plans to host its Nigeria’s Macroeconomic Outlook 2026 on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the LCCI-BOI Innovation Hub in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. Furthermore, the Macroeconomic outlook Nigeria 2026 event will bring together experts from various sectors.
The event, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., will feature a business talk titled “Nigeria’s Economy: Getting it Right,” to be delivered by Engr. Jani Ibrahim, President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture. Notably, Macroeconomic outlook Nigeria 2026 is expected to offer valuable perspectives on national trends.
According to a statement by WorldStage Limited, the 2026 Outlook, themed “Turning the Corner,” was produced in partnership with leading institutions including Zenith Bank, Nigeria LNG Limited, Central Bank of Nigeria, NNPC Limited, Linkage Assurance Plc, and Fidelity Bank Plc.
The report will be reviewed at the forum by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, who is expected to provide insights into the state’s economic direction and communication strategy. In addition, Macroeconomic outlook Nigeria 2026 will be discussed in depth during the forum.
In his foreword to the publication, Tim Akano, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of New Horizons Nigeria, noted that the Outlook comes at a critical time when discussions around reform, productivity, and sustainable growth have gained urgency.
He described the document as a well-researched body of work that offers perspectives across key sectors of the economy, including banking, capital markets, telecommunications, agriculture, manufacturing, education, and the creative industry. Indeed, the Macroeconomic outlook Nigeria 2026 report aims to inform both stakeholders and decision makers.
Akano further observed that the report strikes a balance between ambition and realism. While it highlights improving macroeconomic indicators and renewed momentum driven by ongoing reforms, it also draws attention to persistent structural challenges such as infrastructure deficits, low productivity, funding gaps, and regulatory inefficiencies.
According to him, addressing these challenges will be crucial in determining how effectively Nigeria can translate policy intentions into measurable national development.
President and Chief Executive Officer of WorldStage, Segun Adeleye, said the organisation’s goal was to produce a comprehensive and credible outlook that would serve as a reliable reference for stakeholders.
He added that the publication is designed to guide decision-making for both local and international investors throughout the year and beyond.
The event is expected to attract key players in the Nigerian economy, including regulators, industry operators, and members of the media, providing a platform for robust discussions on the country’s economic trajectory.
