The Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, has alleged the killing of northerners in some Southern part of the country by the members of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
ACF National Publicity Secretary, Emmanuel Yawe said the report he received from its state chairman in Rivers State, Alhaji Ibrahim Tukur Tudunwada indicated that northerners living in Rivers and Abia states were being held hostage by members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Yawe therefore called on President Muhammadu Buhari to act immediately to save the lives of the affected northerners.
It alleged that about 30 northerners have been killed, while 50 buses, trailers and trucks belonging to northerners in the said states have been destroyed by IPOB.
ACF applauded governor Wike for banning the activities of IPOB in the State.
The group warned northerners planning to travel to the South to shelve such plans, while appealing to President Buhari to take proactive measures to save the lives of all Nigerians wherever they reside.
It however commended the security agencies in the states for doing their best to save the lives of the northerners.
