Boko Haram: War against government will continue even after me, Shekau tells Buhari
The leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, has told President Muhammadu Buhari-led government that the sect’s war against Nigerian Army would continue even if he is killed.
Shekau who boasted that he can’t be arrested because he was doing God’s work, spoke through a latest video released to the public.
He made the declaration in response to reports of manhunt for him and his followers by the government.
The Boko Haram leader said: “Nobody can apprehend me because I’m doing God’s work. He will protect me like those doing similar work and seeking His protection.
“I’m very sure God will protect my commanders.
Recall that the Nigerian Army had released 86 names, including that of Shekau as those wanted for terrorism in Nigeria.
