In a rather bizarre situation, a director at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on Saturday evening narrated how a friend of his lost his wife to another woman when they travelled to the country for their honeymoon shortly after their marriage.
Michael Achimugu, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at NCAA, disclosed this in a post on his verified X handle, saying no matter how educated many people are, they can never master life.
According to him, a few years ago, his very close senior friend, whose name he withheld, got married to a beautiful wife and after the wedding, they headed to Ghana for their honeymoon.
“He returned heartbroken. That was not the news. The shocker was that he lost his wife to a woman! You read that right. At their honeymoon. He left Nigeria as married and returned as single,” Achimugu wrote.
“My friend is yet to recover from all he went through. Life has not been good to him, considering how kind he is. Still, life goes on. We will also be okay, somehow, I guess. No matter how educated you are, you can never master life,” he added.
