PDP faction loyal to Wike asks each presidential aspirants to pay N51 million for forms, governorship N21 million

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faction loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced N51 million as fee for Expression of Interest and Nomination form for presidential aspirants.

It also announced N21 million as the amount to purchase the forms by governorship aspirants in various states.

The faction announced this on Wednesday, April 22, as it added that sale of the forms would commence from Monday, April 27 to Monday, May 4.

It added that the presidential primary would hold from Sunday, May 17 to Monday, May 18 at a venue yet to be disclosed.

According to the timetable announced by the faction, House of Representatives primaries will be held on Thursday, May 21 while that of the Senate will be held on Saturday, May 23

State House of Assembly primaries are to be held on Monday, May 25 while that for the governorship will come last on Wednesday, May 27.

Regarding fees for the forms, House of Assembly aspirants are to pay₦3 million,

House of Representatives aspirants to pay₦4 million while senatorial aspirants are to pay N6 million.

It will be recalled that the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the week announced the sum of N100 million as fee for the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for its presidential aspirants while governorship aspirants are to pay N50 million for the forms.
