Roma’s star, Nicolo Zaniolo equate with Mbappe’s Champions league record

Nicolo Zaniolo, a midfielder that plays for Italian club Roma on Tuesday night, February 12, had his name recorded in the history books of the Champions when he scored a brace.

His brace gave his club a 2-1 win over FC Porto in the first leg of their round of 16 Champions League encounter.

He has now become the youngest Italian player to ever hit twice in a Champions League tie as well as equaled the record of Paris-Saint-Germain youngster Kylian Mbappe.

Nicolo Zaniolo was however over the moon after a record-breaking turn on Tuesday night led his side to victory scoring against legend Iker Casillas.

According to his statement to Sky Sport Italia when being questioned, he said “It’s an incredible night, I am speechless and never would’ve expected such a thing.”
