The Students Union president of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Greatness Folagbade Ayoola, has appointed 40 special advisers and aides who he said will assist him in running his administration.
Particularly interesting among the appointments was his decision to pick Special Adviser on Christianity and Spiritual Matters and also Special Adviser on Presidential Movement and Physical Fitness.
In a memo signed by the president, the appointments, which he said were with immediate effect, also indicated the naming of a Chief of Staff as well as Deputy Chief of Staff. There were also Senior Personal Assistant to the President as well as Personal Assistant II to the president.
The students union leader also appointed Secretary to the President as well as the Chief Press Secretary. He named six directors including that of Travels and Exchange as well as Photography and Videography.
He named 25 special advisers and apart from the ones mentioned above, others included Special Advisers on Special Duties, Academic Affairs, Logistics, Social Media engagements, Female Sensitisation and Women Affairs, External Affairs and Sanitation.
Other special advisers included those of Letters and Documentation, Graphics and Content Creation, Law and Constitutional Matters, Islamic Affairs, Fundraising and Sponsorship, among others.
The students union president also appointed three Aides de Camp (ADC) with one of them from Man O War and another from the Cadet Corps.
