A couple on Friday, March 6, narrated how they got married in 2011 and waited for 15 years before God surprised them with four babies instead of one they were expecting.
The couple, Mr and Mrs Monday Ojerije, from Region 32, Lagos State, said this during the Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) held at the Redemption City, Ogun State.
According to the wife, she keyed into the prophesy of the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who said last year that God will deposit thousands of children in the womb of barren women and they would give testimonies this year.
The woman said: “We got married in 2011 and since then, we have been believing God for the fruits of the womb. We went to the hospital and we were told everything is okay. After some years, I was told I had fibroid but it would not stop me from getting pregnant.
“A few years later, I decided to remove it, but despite that, there was no children.
“We have been coming to the camp for various Holy Ghost services and through our pastor, Yede Daniels, we wrote a letter to our Daddy GO and he replied us and said he will hear our testimony and we believe God.
“Two years ago, we went for IVF and it failed. When we came back home, it was as if our whole world has ended. But we didn’t give up. Last year, Daddy GO said on this same month on his birthday that God is giving out thousands of children and we keyed into it
“That same month of March last year, God did it. I tested positive for pregnancy. When I did the first scan, the nurse asked me how many I was expecting and I told her that we prayed for one. But because Daddy GO said God will silence our mockers and will give us double for our delay, we hoped for more.
“To the glory of God, He gave us more than we expected. After 15 years, He gave us a handful, He gave us two boys and two girls.”
