The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday night announced the defection of Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the party.
APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, who is also from Plateau State, announced the governor’s defection at the party’s 14th national caucus meeting held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
Yilwatda declared that Governor Mutfwang’s move means the entire North Central geopolitical zone is now fully under APC control.
