Some cows were seen straying into the ever-busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and occupying a large part of a section of the expressway.
The cows, numbering about 10, without being guarded by anyone, were initially moving by the side of the road before they eventually entered and stayed put at the inward Lagos section of the road.
The cows occupied almost half of the section of the highway, as vehicles slowed down and passed through one lane of the road.
They were on the road for more than 20 minutes and a few metres from where officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) patrol team used to stay.
The undated video of the straying cow on the expressway was posted by an X user on Wednesday, January 14, and captioned the video: “The owners of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.”
