The Nigerian Army disclosed this in a statement on Friday night, as it said the troops of Sector 1 Operation WHIRL STROKE (OPWS), while on routine patrol along Otukpo–Enugu Road at Amoda Axis in Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State arrested the two teenagers and a young man.
The Army gave the names of those arrested as John Isaac (22 years), Baba Emmanuel (17 years), and Sunday Thomas (19 years) all residents of Otukpo Local Government Area.
It was gathered that they were stopped for a search based on intelligence while riding a motorcycle. During the search, the troops recovered three mobile phones and the sum of ₦20,200 alongside the pistol and cartridge from the three persons.
