Tennis superstar, Venue Williams, has married her Italian actor and model lover, Andrea Preti, in a second ceremony in Florida, United States, over the weekend, months after first tying the knot in Italy.
The happy couple held six days of luxurious dinners and celebrations in Palm Beach, Florida, with their closest friends and family members. They had earlier tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Ischia, Italy, on September 18, 2025
Her younger sister, Serena Williams, posted the photographs of the wedding ceremony, saying her elder sister had just entered the next chapter of her life.
Andrea, born in 1988 in Denmark, has had a successful career in modeling and acting, appearing in films like “One More Day” and “Temptation.”
The couple’s love story began in July 2024, and they got engaged in January 2025. Andrea has been a huge support system for Venus, encouraging her to continue playing tennis even when she felt like giving up.
Williams, aged 45 years and the 37-year-old Preti chose to hold a second wedding because paperwork to confirm their first marriage in Italy in September can take up to eight months to become official, according to reports.
While Serena has been married to Reddit founder, Alexis Ohanian, since 2017, Venus had stayed single for much of her sporting career.
But in October 2022, she admitted that she was ready to settle down with the right person.
‘I’ve had a single life for a long time and I think it’s really easy to get stuck in a single life and sometimes – at least for me – harder to get out,’ she said.
However, on Tuesday, December 23, Serena posted photographs of the wedding ceremony and said her elder sister is now a married woman.
She wrote: “My sister’s keeper. Venus, where do I even begin? From backyard courts to the world stage, you’ve always led with grace, strength, and heart. Seeing you step into this next chapter so loved and radiant means everything to me. Forever proud to stand beside you.”
